ABCD is a parallelogram and SONI is a rectangle. what is the value of x in ABCD and length of IN in figure SONI?

Lets find the the value of x in figure ABCD

Here
Angle CBX = angle ADY
Therefore 80° = 3x + 50°
= 3x = 80 - 50
= x = 30\3 = 10°

Therefore the value of x in figure ABCD = 10°

Now in figure ABCD
To find the length of IN

Now as you know the opposite side of the rectangle are equal

So, IN = SO
=3x +18 = 5x
5x = 3x + 18
5x - 3x = 18
2x = 18
X = 18/2 = 9

So, IN =3x + 18 = 3(9) + 18 = 27 + 18 = 45
