so , angle C + angle B = 180° (co interior angles)

135+3y = 180

3y = 180-135

3y = 45

y = 45/3

y = 15°

angle DAB = 135°

Angle DAE + angle DAB = 180° ( linear pair )

angle DAE + 135 = 180

angle DAE = 180-135

angle DAE = 45°

In triangle ADE

angle DAE + angle ADE + angle DEA = 180°

( angle sum property of triangle )

45 + 55 + x = 180

100 + x = 180

x = 180 - 100

x = 80°

y = 15° x = 80°
