(I) area = 35 x 8 = 280 sq.cm
(II) distance between it's shortest side:
         280 = 28 x h
         10 cm=h

Area of parallelogram =  280 cm² and distance between it's shorter sides. = 10 cm if ABCD is a parallelogram having adjacent side AB=35 cm and BC=28 cm and distance between its longer sides is 8 cm,

Step-by-step explanation:

ABCD is a parallelogram having adjecent side AB=35 cm and BC=28 cm

Distance between  longer sides is 8 cm

Area of parallelogram = 35 * 8

= 280 cm²

distance between it's shorter sides. = d

Area of Parallelogram = 28 * d

28 * d = 280

=> d = 10 cm

distance between it's shorter sides. = 10 cm
