Given:

ABCD is a parallelogram with AC as diagonal .

To prove:

Triangle ABC is congurent to triangle ADC.

Proof:

We know that ABCD is a parallelogram then

AB ll CD and are equal.

BC ll AD and are equal.

In triangle ABC and triangle ADC

Angle BAC= Angle ACD ( Alternative angles)

Angle BCA= Angle CAD ( Alternative angles)

AC=AC (Common side)

Therefore triangle ABC is congurent to triangle ADC

(ASA Congruence criteria)
