ABCD is a parallelogram whose area is 100 sq.cm.
Pisany point inside the parellelogram (see fig.) find
the area of ar AAPB + arACPD.​

now ABEF and CDEF are two parallelogram

now parallelogram ABEF and triangle APB are on same base AB and between the same parallel so

ar(APB)=1/2 ar(ABEF)

similarly ar(CPD)=1/2ar(CDEF)

adding both the equation

and we have ar(ABEF)+ar(CDEF)=100

and ar (APB)+ar(CPD)=1/2ar(ABCD)

so required area is 1/2×100

50cm²
