Find it's area.... If BC=8.4 cm then what is the length of the other altitude from

Length of Altitude is 12.33 cm and Area of Parallelogram is 103.6 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Length of side AB = 14.8 cm

Length of Altitude DE = 7 cm

We know that,

Area of Parallelogram = Product of Altitude and Side ""(1)

= Length of AB \times Length of Altitude DE

= 14.8 \times 7

= 103.6 cm^2

Length of Side, BC = 8.4

Let the Length of perpendicular at BC from A be AF.

Applying  Equation (1) again-

Area of Parallelogram = Product of Altitude and Side

we can find the Length of altitude as -

Length of Altitude = \frac {Area\ of\ Parallelogram}{Length\ of\ Side}

= \frac {103.6}{8.4}

= 12.33 cm
