ABCD is a quadrilateral in which AD=BC and angle DAB= angle CBA. Prove that
∆ABD=∆BAC
BD=AC
ABD=Angle BAC​

HERE IS THE ANSWER:

Given:

AD = BC

Angle ABD = Angle CBA

To Prove:

triangle ABD = triangle BAC

BD = AC

Angle ABD = Angle BAC

Proof

(i) In triangle ABD &   triangle BAC

AB = BA (common)

Angle DAB = Angle CBA (given)

AD = BC (given)

therefore, ABD = BAC (By SAS)

(ii) triangle ABD = triangle BAC (as proved)

then, BD = AC (by CPCT)

(iii) Angle ABD = Angle BAC (by CPCT)
