ABCD is a quadrilateral in which diagonal BD is 30 cm and AP and cq are perpendiculars to BD if a p equal to 9.6 CM and CQ equal to 6.8 cm then find the area of quadrilateral

i have drawn the required figure.
Now the total area of quadrilateral ABCD will be the sum of the areas of the two Triangles ABD and DCB

area of the triangle ABD is equals to
½xbasexheight
½ x 30 x 9.6 = 144

and that of triangle DCB
½ x 30 x 6.8 = 102

total area of the quadrilateral ABCD will now be equals to
144+102
246 cm²
