Yes they both are congruent
A!-----------------------!B

! !
D!-----------------------!C

IN triangles ABC and ADC
AB=AC (opp. sides of rectangle)
/_B=/_D (/_ of a rectangle)
BC=AS (opp. sides of rectangle)
So triangles are congruent by SAS criteria

so the two triangles formed are ABD and BDC,
            in these two triangles,
                 AD=CB(sides of a rectangle)
                 angleC=angleA=90degrees
                 AB=CD(sides of a rectangle)
                        so triangle ABD is congruent to triangle BDC
