Given :-

ABCD is a rectangle whose three vertices are B(0 , 4) , C(4 , 3) , D(0 , 3).

To Find :-

What is the length of one of its diagonal.

Solution :-

ABCD is a rectangle.

BD is one of a diagonal

Given :

B(0 , 4)

C(4 , 3)

D(0 , 3)

Then, according to the question,

↦ \sf BD =\: \sqrt{{(0 - 0)}^{2} + {(4 - 3)}^{2}}

↦ \sf BD =\: \sqrt{{(0)}^{2} + {(1)}^{2}}</p><p>

↦ \sf BD =\: \sqrt{0 \times 0 + 1 \times 1}

↦ \sf BD =\: \sqrt{0 + 1}

➠ \sf\bold{\red{BD =\: 1}}

therefore∴ The length of the diagonal is 1 unit .
