Given ABCD is a rectangle.

In which AB=√8cm

AD=√2cm

To find:-AC=??

Solution:-

In ∆ABC;

Angel B=90°

By using Pythagoras theorem;

AB²+BC²=AC²

Implies that;

(√8)²+(√2)²=AC²

AC²=(²√8)+(√2)²

AC²=8+2

AC²=10

AC=√10cm

(ans)

I hope it is helpful........
