ABCD is a rhombous. if AC =8cm DB =6 cm, find the lengh of BC

ABCD is a rhombus [draw a figure]

AC and DB are two diagonals.
diagonals bisect perpendicularly each other in rhombus

intersecting point is " O"

AO = AC/2 = 8/2 =4 cm

OD = DB/2 = 6/2 =3 cm

AOD is a right angled triangle <AOD =90

AD^2 = (AO)^2 +(OD)^2
 = 4^2 +3^2
=16+9
=25
therefore
AD = 5 cm

in rhombus all side are equal in length

AB=BC=CD=DA= 5 cm
