ABCD is a square. 5 out of 6 identical rectangle in the smaller sqare have been shaded. How many more similar rectangle must be shaded so that 3/8 of square ABCD is shaded ​

Answer:

one block have 6 rectangles

so 4 blocks will have 24 rectangles

so making denominator 24 we will

 \frac{3}{8}  \times  \frac{3}{3}  \\  \frac{9}{24}

9 in total should be shaded or 4 more should be shaded
