Step-by-step explanation:

Length of diagonal = root2 (a)

6 = root2 (a)

a= 6/root2

=4.24 cm

Area of square = a^2

= (4.24)^2 = 17.97 cm^2

Parameter of a square = 2* root2* diagonal =(2xroot2x6)

=16.97 cm^2 {diagonal method}

Or, parameter of a square = 4 x a

= 4x4.24 = 16.97
