Given info : An oscillation pendulum bob of mass 2kg has an angular speed of 3.0rad/s.

To find : the maximum kinetic energy if its amplitude is 5 cm is..

solution : mass of bob, m = 2kg

angular speed of the bob, ω = 3 rad/s

amplitude , A = 5 cm = 0.05m

maximum kinetic energy of an pendulum is given by, K.E = \frac{1}{2}mv^2=\frac{1}{2}m(\omega A)^2=\frac{1}{2}m\omega^2A^2

= 1/2 × 2 kg × (3 rad/s)² × (0.05 m)²

= 0.0225 J

therefore the maximum kinetic energy of an oscillation pendulum is 0.0225 Joule.
