Answer:

Area of entire square = 30² = 900

Area of semicircle = πr²/2 = [3.14×15²] ÷ 2 =353.25

Area of shaded region = 900 - 353.25 = 546.75

⭐⭐ Hey mate ⭐⭐

Here is the answer :-

given is ABCD is a square with side of 30 metres . The two unshaded portion contains of two semicircles which will together form a single full circle .

so if we find the area of these two semicircles and the area of the whole square and minus them the answer will be the area of shaded portion .

Here ,

Area of square = Side × Side

=> 30 × 30 m²

=> 900 m²

the diameter of the semicircle is the side of the square , i. e., 30 m , and these two semicircles will join to form a full circle

Diameter of circle = 30 m

Radius = 15 m

Area = πr²

=> 22/7 × 15 × 15

=> 3.14 × 225

=> 706.5 m²

Area of unshaded portion = (900 - 706.5) m²

=> 193.5 m²

answer ::

The area of unshaded portion is 193.5 m²

Hope it will be helpful.
