Area of quadrant= 1/4×22/7×r×r
R=1cm
= 1/4×22/7×1×1×4 (4quadrants are there) =22/7cm2
Area of circle =22/7 ×1×1 =22/7cm2
Area of sq= 4×4=16cm2
Area of shaded region =16-44/7 =68/7 =9.71cm2
