ratio of ar (APD):ar (APBC)
=7:25
let the area be 7x and 25x .
7x+25x=256
32x=256
x=8
area of triangle = 7×8=56cm^2.
area of triangle = 1/2×base×height.
height =16 (because its a part of square) .
1/2×16×base=56
8×base=56
base = 7cm
length of DP=7cm.
Therefore CP=16-7=9cm
