First join A and C, then join B and D. After joining

Let the figure formed by joining the midpoints of kite be EFGH.

Now prove triangle ADC and triangle ABC congruent. After proving these two triangles congruent prove triangle ABD and triangle BCD congruent. After proving this you will get EF=GH and EG=FH. So you can now find that opposite sides are equal. So you can say that figure EFGH is a rectangle.
