\huge\bf\purple{QUESTION}

The height of a parallelogram is twice it's base. If the area is 450 cm^2, find its base and height.

\huge\bf\blue{ANSWER}

Let the base be b cm.

Height of parallelogram= 2b cm

______________________________________________

Area of parallelogram= Base × Height

 =  > 450 = b \times 2b

 =  > 450 = 3b {}^{2}

 =  > b {}^{2}  =  \frac{450}{3}

 =  > b {}^{2}  = 150

 =  > b =  \sqrt{150}

 =  > b = 12.24 \: cm

Height= 2b= 2× 12.24=24.48cm

______________________________________________

Therefore,

Base of the parallelogram is 12.24 cm and height of the parallelogram is 24.48 cm
