Abdul travelled 300km by trains and 200km by taxi, it took 5 hours 30 minutes.but if he travels 260km by train and 240 km by taxi,he takes 6 minutes longer.find the speed of the train and that of the taxi.

taxi speed is 80km/h and train speed is 100km/h. please comment wright or wrong

ravibaraiya: v1=train speed and v2=taxi speed. then velocity=distance/time so t1=d1/v1 and t2=d2/v2 but t1 + t2=330minute. and put t1 and t2 formula in this step and we arrive 330v1v2 = 300V2 + 200V1. IT IS FORMULA 1 AND VICE VERSA OTHER FORMULA AND THIS FIRMULA IS 336V1V2=260V2 + 240V1 this is formula 2.and solve both formula and got answer.
