here is ur answer

shiva006: all units must be in km/h
Sameen11111: Y'all but the unit of speed is m/s too
Sameen11111: I hope u get it
shiva006: if the question is given in km/h then to convert it into m/s you must multiply it with 5/18
Sameen11111: I know that. But will explain me that what u exactly want to say. By the way the answer in m/s is too accurate
Sameen11111: I get that what u want to say me
Sameen11111: That's my mistake I'm sorry

average speed is total distance by total time.
let us assume total distance to be D. so distance travelled on a whole is 2D.
time=D/s. so time for first travel is D/20.
time for second travel back is D/30.
so, AVG SPD =2D/D/30+D/20.
therefore AVG SPD=2D/D(1/30+1/20)
=2/1/30+1/20
=2×60/5
=24km/h

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

Sameen11111: Mr. m/s is too the unit of speed search on Google dear
shiva006: but the question is asked in km/h dear
