Water pollution is contemnation of water bodies .This form of enviromental degradation occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly dischargedinto water bodies without adequate treatment to remove harmful compounds.

The definition of pollution itself defines what exactly is air pollution and water pollution..pollution is nothing but addition of harmful substances which are dangerous for the human health and environmentin the same way when we say air pollution or water pollution ,it is nothing but addition of harmful gases or hamrful wastes,it can be any form....or simply we can say addition of impurities
