- Apidium is the most common primate currently known from a newly discovered site near Zallah Oasis in the Sirt Basin of central Libya.
- Their teeth suggest that they ate fruit and insects and from their bone structure one can assume that they were well adapted to walking along branches and also leap fro tree to tree.
