avul pakir jainulabdeen abdul kalam was boen on october 15, 1931 in rameshwaram. he was a model to millions of indians. he has a unique career as scientist, technologist and has received the highest civilian award bharat ratna. his autobiography is ' wings of fire'. after graduation from madras institute of technology, abdul kalam started his career as senior scientific assistant in the ministry of defence in 1958. in 1962, he joined ISRO, and came to trivandrum. he gave leadership in making India's own rocket- launching vehicles. he passed away on 27th july 2015.

A great Indian scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007 served the country. He was a man of India's most prestigious for the country as a scientist and as president, he had made a major contribution. ISRO has been the contribution is made. Many projects have been led by him as Rohini-1 launch, Project Devil and Project Valiant, development of missiles (Fire and Earth) and so on. India's nuclear power to improve their great contribution to the "India's missile man" is called. For their dedicated work was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honor. India after the completion of his term as President, Dr. Kalam in different colleges and universities in the country served as a guest professor.

 

October 15, 1931 and the Janullabdin Asiamma Kalam was born in the house. Which he did not recover his family's financial health at an early age began to work for funding. During your work, he never left his studies. He graduated from St. Joseph's College in Tiruchirapalli in 1954 and Aeronautical Engineering from Madras Institute completed. After graduation Kalam as a chief scientist at DRDO soon joined the project director of India's first indigenous satellite missile as were displaced in the Indian Space Research Organisation. Dr. Kalam Guided Missile Development Programme, which also served as Chief Executive of the simultaneous development of missiles included a vibration.

 

From 1992 to 1999, Dr Kalam and the Prime Minister's chief scientific adviser became of the DRDO secretary. Pokhran-II nuclear tests as the main project coordinator after their successful contributions "India's missile man" came to be called. He was the first scientist in the 2002 and 2007 years without any political background were the President of India.

 

He has written many inspirational books such as "India 2020, , Mission India, The Luminous Spark, Inspiring Thoughts", etc. Dr. Kalam to eradicate corruption in the country, "What Can I Give Movement" launched a mission named for the youth. Country (Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Indore, etc.) for various institutes and universities in the guest Professor served, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Tiruanantpurm Chancellor as, JSS University (Mysore), Aerospace Engineering At Anna University (Chennai) etc. He was honored with numerous prestigious awards and honors such as the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna,  Indira Gandhi Award, Award Veer Savarkar, Ramanujan Award.
