Plaster of Paris has a chemical composition of Calcium Sulphate (CaSO4.½H2O)

PoP is prepared by heating Gypsum at about 300K (150°C)

PoP is used during Fractures, to hold the body.

It is used for making Sculptures.

It is used in building materials for walls, ceilings ( due to its heat resistant nature).

Hope it helps you ^_^
