We can better describe this by taking an example of our day to day life.

We can see many people on the streets begging for food, cloth etc.

As our nation is developing so much but poverty is not fully destroyed. There are many more people who only get some food or sometime they didn't even get.

Poverty is A significant issue of every country. In 1947 when Britishers Ended their rule in India our poverty rate was 70% and now our poverty rate is 21%. We can see so many people living on streets, Footpaths,etc. Poverty means lack of education, house,food and clothes.

We can see/take many examples from our day to day life like -

  • People begging for money or food in streets. Sometimes they sell some things and earn money.
  • No financial or family support is also a very big reason.
  • Investing your whole money in wrong place can also lead to poverty.
  • Lack of education
  • Carring a child for sympathy and asking for money.
  • Acting like they are psychically impaired.

Reasons for poverty in a state or city can be:-

  • Lack of education
  • No one is paying tax
  • Corrupt leadership
  • Inequality etc

Solution:-

  • Education
  • Create more job
  • Give paid leaves and sick leaves.
  • Expand medicate
  • Support pay equaity
  • Raise the minimum wage.
