Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Campaign is one of the most ambitious projects from the Government of India and PM Narendra Modi. He officially announced the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 2nd October 2014 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. This is one of its kind of campaign that got national-level attention. A major goal of this campaign is to make all cities and villages of India “Open Defecation Free“. Along with it, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan aims to clean the roads, streets, and infrastructure across India.
