It is located near Gwalior,Madhya Pradesh and was built in between 8th and 14th century by some famous Hindu kings of India.It is spread over the area of about 3 km.It was made up of Sandstone and Lime Mortars and it is sad that it is about 1500 years old.

Gwalior is a place in Madhya Pradesh. The name Gwalior was derived from one of the Hindu words for saint, Gwalipa. The fort was built in 8th Century. The fort was built with materials like Sandstones and Lime Mortar. The Fort consists of two main places which are -----> Gurjari Mahal and Man Mandir, built by Man Singh Tomar. It has been controlled by various rulers in the past. The inscription is around 1500 years old.
