Thorn Scrub forest receives too much heat and rainfall is scarce. It receives maximum rainfall of 10 mm. It temperature ranges from 45°C to 50°C. The plants mainly are cactus and some xerophytic shrubs. The roots of Cactus are too long and go into deeper depths of the soil and collects small amounts of water. It is so designed that it can withstand high heat during summer season.
