Einstein wrote a letter to Franklin D  Roosevelt, the American president, and warned him that a single nuclear bomb would make a mass destruction.

In this letter he wrote about the consequence  of the atomic bomb.

But the Americans secretly developed a atomic bomb and drop them on Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

With the emergence of Nazi  is in Germany Einstein emigrated  to the United states.  It was the fact that the Nazis had the ability to developed the atomic bomb. It could destroy the whole world. So, he warned Franklin  D Roosevelt in this letter.
