Hi there!

Although Jahangir was constantly at odds with his father, Akbar, he continued the policies of tolerance that Akbar laid out. So did Shah Jahan actually.
Coming back to Jahangir -

1. Secular, like his father. He married a Rajput - Jagat Gosaini - whose son became one of the greatest kings - Shah Jahan

2. Coming back to the same point, Jahangir employed people of all religions in his court - and treated them all as one.

3. A lot of Hindus made scientific breakthroughs during Jahangir’s reign - and he’s given them their credit.

4. Like his father before him, Jahangir continued the alliance with the Rajputs. Them assisting the Mughals on expeditions, and the Mughals assisting them in various matters.
