In the story "The Fun They Had", the mechanical teachers in the story greatly differ from the teachers of today and share some similarities as well. The mechanical teachers and teachers of today both educate students of subjects in a learning curriculum and some contrasting differences include that the mechanical teachers are robots and not humans as opposed to the teachers of today. School rooms in the story have a large screen instead of a whiteboard which some schools have but the school rooms in the story do not have whiteboards but almost every school does.
