the other. The two pipes together can fill the
cistern in 6 hours 40 minutes. Find the time
that each pipe will take to fill the cistern.​

Therefore time taken by one pipe=15 hours or 4/3 hourstime taken by other pipe= 15-3=12 hours or4/3-3= 4-9/3=-5/3as time cannot be negative therefore time taken by other pipe is 12 hours.
