absorption of light by silver in visible region

Ag+Cl-----> AgCl.... (Silver Chloride).....
Silver, when kept in sunlight absorbs it, and reacts with chlorine... ND forms silver chloride... ....
Nd it mostly happens in summer season or sunny day, when sunlight comes itself directly on the silver when kept outside...

silver  when kept in sumlight reacts with chlorine and forms silver chloride...and 
it helps in the absorbstion of light
