According to Abul Fazl there were fourteen Sufi sectors or oders.

Abul Fazl in his book Aa-i-Akbari mentions that there were fourteen Sufi orders. He further says that these orders were divided into two groups -Barbara which fallows Islamic law or Sharia and Beshara which don't follow Sharia.

Sufism is the Islamic mysticism . Among its prominent orders are Chisti, Suherwardi,Naqashbandi etc.
