I agree with the statement. For many or many decades, Hinduism has encouraged the inequality in terms of the castes. At the times of Rig Veda the caste was declared on the basis of profession. But the Brahmins declared themselves as the authority at the later phase and started the practice of untouchability. Dr. B. R Ambedkar was a renowned social reformist who fought against the evil practice.
