According to Mahabharata, Vidura was an incarnation of the god Dharma. Vidura was one of the central characters of the Mahabharata. He was the Prime Minister of Dhritarashtra in the state of Hastinapur.
In relation, he was the uncle of the Kauravas and the Pandavas, as he was the brother of Pandu and Dhritarashtra.
