WE KNOW THAT FORCE = MASS × ACCELERATION

SO. IF WE APPLY BRAKE THEN THE ACCELERATION WILL BE ZERO AND ANYTHING MULTIPLY WITH ZERO IS ZERO THEREFORE THE FORCE WILL ALSO BE ZERO.
