According to recent survey, growing of sunflowers are reducing. Why?

this is because the sun rays are not able to reach at them which means that the amount of UV rays has been increased while sunlight is decreased :-(

According to recent survey, growing of sunflowers are reducing because of water scarcity.Sunflowers are drought tolerant; their deep roots can extract water at depths up to 6 feet. However,sunflowers do best when they are not stressed for water. ... Insufficient water will reduce crop production and quality, whereas a consistently saturated soil will reduce growth and promote development of root rot.
