The answer for your MCQ would be:
C. when one population cannot interbreed with the other population
This process is called speciation and a fertile offspring being produced is a requirement, if the offspring produced are infertile such as that of a cross between a lion and a tiger they are considered distinctly different species

suhanisharma: please mark as the brainliest !!
TayJoker101: How can I make it the Brainliest?
suhanisharma: wait till someone else also answers your question then there will be an option to mark one of the answers as the brainliest
suhanisharma: :)

According to scientific thought one species of organism becomes two is when
a)when population becomes separated from one another.

Hope it is helpful!!!☺

suhanisharma: i'm sorry but that is the wrong option :/
shubhalaxmi: How?
suhanisharma: just seperating the population doesn't make them two different species.
suhanisharma: except in the case of geographical isolation
suhanisharma: but that is not mentioned here it is only said that the poupaltion is seperated
suhanisharma: and also the geographical isolations makes the two populations unable to interbreed. so C is the correct option
suhanisharma: hope you understood :)
