Near x=0 , f(-1)=f(1) = 45

So, (0,64) is not a local maximum of f(x)

Near, x = 3, f(2)=f(4) = 0

So, (3,-35) is not a local maximum of f(x)

Near x=5, f(4) = 0 and f(6) =640

So,(5,189) is not a local maximum of f(x)

Near x=2, f(1)=45 and f(3)= -35

So, the local maximum of f(x) is at x= 2

The local maximum is (2,f(2)) = (2,0)
