World bank classifies countries according toper capita income
(ii) countrieswith PCI of more than 4,53,000 per annum and above are calledRICH COUNTRIES.
(iii) Countries with PCI less than 37,000 or less are calledPOOR COUNTRIES.
(iv) Countries between 37,000 and 4,53,000 are calledmiddle income countries.
THE LIMITATIONS OF THIS REPORT ARE:-
(I) It considers only incomenotother aspects such as literacy, health, life expectancy, etc.
(II) WDR only tells about income and not how it is distributed among the citizens
