Stratification refers to a system of categorizing and differentiating.  According to Weber the three dimensions of stratification which is also known as weberian stratification are :

Class Weber says that class consists of group of people who stand in same economic possession in a given society.  They live in the same economic condition which is determined by the amount of economic power they have.

Status  which represent a similar life style.  It is a person prestige, social honor and popularity in the society.

Power which according to Weber is the ability to exercise ones will on others.  Its a person ability to get their way despite the resistance from others.
