I have read this story last year...
and according to me Aram and morad were ethical because they didn't try to sell or to harm john byro's horse and after fulfilling their dream of riding the horse, they honestly left the horse from where they have taken it.
Their intention was only to ride the horse( as their financial condition was not so good that they can buy a horse) and they didn't have broken the beliefs of their race.
