LPG is supplied in houses, oxygen in hospitals.2:- It is due the large surface area of the saucer which cools it down quickly as compared to the cup thus we are able to sip tea faster in saucer than in cup.

Answer: a) LPG in homes and Oxygen in hospitals

b) Because as the surface area increases , the rate of evaporation increases and thus the hot tea or milk becomes cool.

Explanation: a) Applying pressure makes the molecules of gas come closer and thus they are converted into liquid phase.

When gases are compressed, they occupy a smaller volume and thus more amount of gas can be stored.

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a mixture of propane and butane and is used as a fuel at homes. oxygen is used for artificial respiration in hospitals.

b) Rate of evaporation is directly related to the surface area and thus when the tea is poured in a saucer, the surface area increases and thus rate of evaporation increases, thus making it more colder and thus it is easier for us to sip hot tea or milk from a saucer than from a cup.
