Ajit754: Bro ,You're right about the Bad debts will be subtracted from the debtors cause now they become irrecoverable but Debtors are like the Assets of the business if the money would be received from the them won't recognizable in the balance sheet because if all the money would be received from the debtor then debtors account would be nullify so there wouldn't be any bal.left of debtors to show in B/S So they are not receive they are yet to be received!
