100% Acetic acid is an organic compound with the chemical formula CH₃COOH. It is a colourless liquid that when undiluted is also called glacial acetic acid

Seshan: this is wrong
Seshan: acetic acid has a low melting point of 290K, so it often freezes during winter and in cold climates which the name glacial acetic acid.

Pure acetic acid or undiluted acetic acid is known as glacial acetic acid. This is a colourless liquid at room temperature(25⁰ C). But when the temperature is lowered to about 16.7⁰ C, then it solidifies and looks like glacier. That's why it is called glacial acetic acid.
It's chemical formula is same as the acetic acid, CH₃COOH. And it's IUPAC name is ethanoic acid.

Seshan: this is also wrong.
