hello user !
ACETONE GIVES A MORE COOLING EFFECT TO OUR PALM AS COMPARED TO WATER, WHEN BOTH ARE APPLIED TO PALM . WHY ?

•Acetone is highly volatile in nature.
volatility is the ability of the substance (especially liquids) to evaporate.
•So, highly volatile infers that acetone can easily evaporate.
•Therefore it absorbs heat from the palm very quickly and evaporates and provides a cooling effect to our palm.
•Water, on the other hand is less volatile as compared to acetone , so it absorbs heat slowly and provides less cooling effect than acetone.
