acid should be added to water but not water to acid .why?

as we know that acids are reactive , therefore when we add water to them they will create a blast as of sudden heat produced whereas when we add acids to water , the water cools down the heat as present in large amount compared to acids and therefore no blast occurs .

if you add water to acid this forms concentrated solution of acid initially.so much heat is released from that solution which may boil very violently splashing concentrated acid out of the container and all this because the reaction is exothermic.so it is always safe that acid to water.hope it helps you .plss mark as brainliest
